Product Description:
- Electronic testing and aiming of low beam, high beam and fog light
- The PLA 20 - DR - LET is designed for a rapid and accurate aiming of headlamps, just like it is done at the motor vehicle inspection.
- The button "fine adjustment" enables an even better adjustment so that you will faultlessly pass the inspection. This also leads to a larger road safety as a consequence of optimal road lighting.
- USER-FRIENDLY:
- Align the aimer by means of the mirror (or laser)
- Position the aimer in front of the headlight according to the instructions of the ELECTRONIC POSITION-CHECK
- Set the value by turning the switch
- Select the type of headligth, viz. LOW BEAM, HIGH BEAM, OR FOGLIGHT
- Red lights indicate that adjustment is required in view of the vehicle inspection
- A green light signals achievement of proper aim. The switch "fine adjustment" enables an even more accurate adjustment
- LARGE LENS: In the case of new types of headlights, the kink-point is formed by the outer lightbeams, which can not be caught by a small lens. Many new headlights also have complex and large forms. That is why the PLA 20 - DR - LET is equipped with an extra large lens.
- LOW BEAM, HIGH BEAM and FOG LIGHT: Low beam, high beam and fog lights can be tested and aimed with the PLA 20 - DR - LET. European (ECE) as well as American (SAE) lights can be tested and aimed fully electronically, also gas discharged lamps.
- Simple alignment by means of the rotatable positioner stand and the large alignment mirror. Alignment can also be done by means of a laser (see options).
- Easy up-down movement of the optical head thanks to a counter-weight in the positioner stand.
- The stability of the aimer is guaranteed by a specially designed column section.
- The electronic position-check (EPC) indicates when the aimer catches the complete lightbeam.
- EPC enables an optimal positioning in front of the headlamp.
- A water level is visibly attached on the optical head, which can be levelled by turning the handle (mobile use).
- The test value can be preset by turning the switch.
- A clear image is projected on an easily visible screen.
- Red and green indicator lamps indicate the direction of the lightbeam and how it should be adjusted.
- Accurate aiming of any kind of headlamp.
- A meter indicates the ligth intensity.
- Battery charger: 8 W is included.

- Digitale aimer with CCD-camera: The PLA 20 - DR - LET can be converted towards an electronic or digital aimer.

- Laser alignment: A laser line is projected on the car, which makes alignment more accurate. Laser alignment replaces the alignment mirror at the top the positioner stand.
- Laser calibration: A built-in laser and a calibration plate enable to calibrate the aimer according to the floor inclination.
- RS 232 to pass on the test results through a serial port.
